An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Swallowdale Primary School on a part time fixed term basis until 31st May 2026 to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as part of a job share.
We are seeking someone who can work collaboratively as part of a team, someone who is kind and caring with a creative imagination. The Classroom Teacher will be responsible for providing excellent teaching and creating an environment in which the children love to learn. We are looking for someone who will fully commit to our ethos of Fly High Together.
You will be responsible for creating a learning experience that enables and challenges our pupils to be the best that they can be. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who recognises that all learners are able to lead their own learning and has the drive to provide opportunities for this. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECT’s) as well as more experienced candidates.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have excellent communication skills verbally and written.
• Have a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and be able to plan effective and sequential lessons from this.
• Have a strong understanding of SEND and apply a range of strategies to support varying needs in the classroom.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom where children learn, discover and thrive together.
