An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bradgate Education Partnership at Wreake Valley Academy as a Cover Supervisor on a fixed-term basis until 22nd August 2027.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support teaching and learning across the academy. The role offers flexibility, with working hours ranging from 18 to 30 hours per week (3 to 5 days). Specific working patterns and hours can be discussed at interview.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of teaching staff.
• Maintain a positive, productive, and focused learning environment.
• Build effective relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.
• Support students to remain engaged with their learning and achieve their potential.
• Gain invaluable classroom experience, making this an ideal role for aspiring teachers.

The ideal candidate will have:
An NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a related field.
Experience of working with children or young people in an educational or formal setting, including the ability to work independently when required.
The confidence and ability to effectively manage student behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm, adaptable, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
A commitment to supporting students' learning, wellbeing, and personal development.
A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to working as part of a team.
